LOS PINGÜINOS
The natural monument of "LOS PINGÜINOS" is located in the strait of Magellan about 21.7 miles North-East of the city of Punta Arenas, Chile.
It is formed mainly by Magellanic Penguins, which build their nests in Magdalena island, in a colony with an estimated number of 69,000 couples. There are also other species of birds and mammals, which are found mainly in Marta Island, such as different cormorants,common seagulls, dolphin gulls and Chilean Skuas.
Mammals that have been observed are Eared Seal and South American fur seal.
